ABC MUSIC & ME

ABC Music & Me is an award winning music enrichment program for children 2-6 years of age. Through a weekly music and movement class this program helps stimulate brain development, enhancing cognitive, language, gross motor and fine motor skills.  It teaches self control, self confidence, improves coordination, enhances creativity and inspires a lifelong appreciation for music and movement.

Ilene Marks has been teaching music & movement since 2006.  She had the extraordinary experience of teaching in Beijing, China to both expat and local children.  In Beijing, she created a successful mommy & me music business. Ilene has also taught in a special needs environment teaching and learning from down syndrome children.   She has volunteered in orphanages and lead workshops at an international Montessori school. 

While abroad, she aquired an exceptional collection of instruments, particularly drums from Asia. She incorporates these instruments to teach rhythm and the fundamentals of music theory.
