My son took the Kidz Entrepreneur class part 1 through a homeschool co-op last semester, and he had so much fun! Ilene introduced the kids to business and marketing concepts like market positioning, refining an elevator pitch, ways to branch a core business into other services or products, etc. And judging by the final projects in the class, these kids learned and employed these concepts. She also emphasizes public speaking skills. My son LOVED her class and enrolled in Part 2 already for the next school year! We've done a lot of camps and enrichment classes, and this is one is truly unique; I hope more families will be able to take advantage of Ilene's entrepreneur program.- Michelle, mom of 11 yr old
The first week he said he loved your KE & Speech classes because of the games. Tonight, he said, "If anyone else taught the class, I probably wouldn't like it." He loves the fun, relaxed aspect you bring to class. You are such a gem, and we are so grateful for you. I just wanted to thank you for offering the Kids Entreprenuer camp. My daughter just finished taking the camp today and she loved it! It was one of her all time favorite camps! Ilene Marks was a wonderful, creative and energetic leader who lead age appropriate fun learning activities for the kids and made the kids feel special and excited about being entrepreneurs. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of this age group was clear and her dedication and time spent preparing every day was extraordinary for teachers. My daughter came home excited everyday for what she learned and for the next day.

Think your child is too young to start his or her own business? Guess again! Join us in this action packed introduction to the world of careers & fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Through drama, music, art, costumes & imagination, we’ll explore various careers as you start thinking about creating your own business. The possibilities are endless! For example, we will transform our room into an Italian restaurant, setup a general store & of course, a lemonade stand. This unique camp enhances self-esteem, self-awareness & creativity. On the final day of camp, you’re invited to a sing-a-long.
Our final production was about dreaming and reaching for the stars.
Through crafts, songs, drama and games we learned about different careers.
The children learned to work in groups, meeting new friends! We discussed advertising for our pizza business. Great sign ladies! Very creative!
The children had fun transforming our class to a lemonade stand and pizza parlour. They made fancy aprons,creative pizzas and huge advertising signs. We ended with a delicious snack. Lots of smiles!
